Holiday Period and Strike Notice

During the holiday period, SHDM offices will be closed from Wednesday, December 24, 2025, to Friday, January 2, 2026, inclusive. In addition, as part of the negotiations for the collective agreement of building attendants, SHDM acknowledges the notice received from the Syndicat des Cols bleus regroupés de Montréal, CUPE Local 301, informing it of an overtime strike from December 23, 2025, to January 4, 2026, inclusive.

Accordingly, for the duration of the strike, adjustments will be put in place to ensure minimum service for waste management and building maintenance; however, a slowdown in services is to be expected.

Only urgent service requests will be handled (water leaks, heating breakdowns, etc.). The 24/7 service remains available by calling 514-380-7436.
