Donations and sponsorships

The management of donations and sponsorships is one of the tools available to the SHDM to fulfill its mission and expand the reach of its social commitment. Through this approach, the SHDM seeks to support high-impact initiatives across the territory of Montréal, strengthen its roots in the community, and contribute to the well-being of its community.

  1. Support initiatives that align with the SHDM’s mission and values and are consistent with its 2025–2028 strategic plan;
  2. Give priority to projects or initiatives with a structuring impact that respond to community needs, particularly those related to housing;
  3. Prioritize support for organizations operating within the territory of the City of Montréal.

Contribution to the Centraide campaign

Every year, a committee of SHDM employees, rallies to raise funds for Centraide of Greater Montreal.

Centraide of Greater Montreal is a public foundation that supports a network of 375 community organizations and projects, aimed at improving the living conditions of people in vulnerable situations.

In 2025, the committee raised $20,781 thanks to the participation and generosity of its employees. This result reflects their commitment and is part of The SHDM’s ongoing effort to actively contribute to the well-being of the community.
