The SHDM and the City of Montreal congratulate Ms. Sophie Rousseau-Loiselle on her appointment to the position of Executive Director of the SHDM.

In accordance with the rules of governance of the SHDM, this appointment was ratified during the meeting of the executive committee of the City of Montreal on September 27, 2023, on the recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Company. This decision followed a rigorous and supervised recruitment process by a committee set up following the announcement of the retirement of Ms. Nancy Shoiry. I salute her commitment to making this organization a key player in the Chantier Montréal Abordable project,” declared Benoit Dorais, vice-president of the executive committee and responsible for housing, real estate strategy and legal affairs.

« On behalf of the board of directors, I welcome Mrs. Rousseau-Loiselle as the Executive Director of the SHDM. Beyond her substantial experience in large-scale real estate project development, the Société will benefit from her strategic vision and unifying leadership, » said Mr. Jean-Jacques Bohémier, chairman of the board of directors. « We look forward to working together to address the challenges related to affordable housing. »
