Two new tenants at Îlot Balmoral starting in Fall 2026

As of fall 2026, Îlot Balmoral will welcome two new tenants, further strengthening its role as a major hub for digital creation:
- The ADN Campus of Cégep du Vieux Montréal and Cégep de Matane, recognized for more than 20 years for its training programs in video game development, digital creation, and interactive arts;
- The Teaching and Research Unit (TRU) in Creation and New Media at UQAT’s Centre in Montreal, which offers programs developed in synergy with the creative industry and in response to the challenges of tomorrow’s world.
With the arrival of these two new tenants, Îlot Balmoral will become a tower largely dedicated to digital creation in Canada, offering state-of-the-art facilities and an environment conducive to the growth and vibrancy of a cultural and creative ecosystem.
It is worth noting that Îlot Balmoral was inaugurated in 2019. It is home to the headquarters of the National Film Board of Canada, the School of Digital Arts, Animation and Design (NAD‑UQAC), Synthèse, as well as the Montreal office of the Department of Canadian Heritage.
We would like to acknowledge the significant work carried out by our teams in managing the construction and coordinating with the project’s partners.
